Area Sales Manager Alexander Koch and Mechanical Designer Melanie Kaiser - joint forces for the best machine solution

As part of a factory tour in March 2018, close to his graduation as Certified Mechanical Technician, Alexander Koch visited BURKHARDT+WEBER for the first time together with his technic-course. Today, he is an established BW-team member and operating as Area Sales Manager at the traditional company in Reutlingen. “Due to my family background I grew up in an engineering surrounding – yet I was immediately fascinated by the size and complex technology of BW-machines. The factory tour offered more than an obligatory date – I am pleased to inspire this year’s technically oriented future engineers for BW.”

Last Wednesday, 25 junior engineers of the Ferdinand-von Steinbeis-School were able to look into the world of big machining centres. The visit was initiated by Mr. Traugott Manz, Leader of the Metals Department, who has visited BW several times with his students.
