Two bee colonies with approximately 30,000 bees per colony are located on our premises since April 2017. Following the company founders - Louis Burkhardt and Johannes Weber - of 1888, the queen bees are named LOUISA and JOHANNA.
The "production halls" of our BW bees are lovingly designed by the kids of BW employees.
A quality analysis of the University of Hohenheim (Stuttgart, Germany) states that our honey has premium quality and is 100% residue-free. The honey from year 2018 is labelled "summer flow of honey".
